Closing challenge

I finished Acts today. Paul was a man who let God completely take over his life and heart! In the most desperate situations he never quit being a witness for God. He did not become self focused or pitied himself in the hardships he went through. When he was under house arrest in Rome he welcomed all who would come to him and he would teach them about Jesus. He closed the Book of Acts with this challenge:

"Go to this people and say,
You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them." (Acts 28:26,27)

(He was quoting from Isaiah 6:9,10)

May I open my ears, eyes, and heart to Jesus. May hear and see what He really wants to be to me. May I do this sincerely with out just trying to get something in return. May my motives be pure and my love real for Jesus. May I have understanding to Jesus' truth.
